Here's something I can totally get behind - #FolkloreFriday !!
Seven Wherewithal Way was largely inspired by my love of world folklore, as well as faerie lore and portal fantasies.
In the lead up to the first book's publication date on 28 September, I'm doing Folklore Friday, a celebration of some of the folklore I drew on for inspiration in imagining and writing the series.
The first book largely draws on Slavic folklore, including appearances from some Russian folklore legends, Baba Yaga and the Leshy.
It has been an absolute dream to create a world around the creatures and lore I have loved for so long. Enjoy July's #FolkloreFridays below!
